Dr. Antonio Tristán-Vega received the Ms.C. and the Ph.D. degrees from the University of Valladolid, Spain, in 2004 and 2009, respectively. He stood for five years with the Department of Signal Theory and Communications at the E.T.S.I. de Telecomunicacion in Valladolid. During this period he was awarded with a Fulbright Scholarship for a one-year stay as a Research Fellow with the Laboratory of Mathematics in Imaging at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston. He is currently Assistant Professor with the Department of Signal Theory and Communications of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación (University of Valladolid). His research interests include Diffusion Imaging processing and understanding and sparse methods for image restoration.
