Last 7th July 2017 Javier Royuela defended his PhD Thesis entitled "Software solutions for two computationally intensive problems: reconstruction of dynamic MR and handling of alpha-stable distributions", getting a qualification of "Sobresaliente" and being proposed for "cum laude" distinction.
The LPI was present in April 2017 in the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine 25th Annual Meeting and Exhibition, Honolulu, HI, USA. The LPI presented the following three e-posters:
- Determination of the optimal set of b-values for ADC mapping under a Rician noise assumption
- Optimal design of motion-compensated diffusion gradient waveforms
- Cardio-Respiratory Motion Estimation for Compressed Sensing Reconstruction of Free-Breathing 2D Cine MRI
